In the city of Osh, a project will be implemented for the construction of two overpass bridges and a road with a length of 3.2 kilometers. Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Ulukbek Janibekov announced this at a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, noting that funding will come from the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), which will provide $14.5 million in the form of a loan and $1.2 million as a grant.

The total cost of the projects is $19.2 million, with the remaining $3.9 million to be allocated from the republic's budget.

“Currently, there are traffic jams in Osh. There is a need to open a road connecting Babraimov and Tursunbaev streets with the new market. This will provide convenient access for residents of Bishkek and surrounding areas,” emphasized Janibekov.

The committee approved the ratification of the relevant agreement, and the document will now be submitted for discussion at a general meeting of the parliament.
