A Financial and Investment Area "Tamchi" Will Be Built at Issyk-Kul

During his speech at the event, the head of the government noted that the "Tamchi" initiative will play a significant role in the economic development of the country, contributing to the formation of a new investment climate.
He added that the created zone will become a connecting link for international capital, fintech and IT initiatives, as well as a modern logistical approach, which will allow utilizing the region's potential and the best global practices of financial centers.

“We are creating a space with clear, stable, and competitive rules. The SFIT "Tamchi" will become an international hub that attracts capital and technology, as well as create many jobs,” added Kasymaliev.
Key aspects of the "Tamchi" project
• It is expected that the phased construction of office buildings, residential complexes, and tourist facilities with a total area of over 470,000 square meters will be completed by 2035.
• The territory will be divided into business, logistics, and recreational zones.
• Residents will be granted a tax exemption for up to 49 years.
• Free movement of capital, a flexible currency regime, and the possibility of 100% foreign participation will be ensured.
• The creation of an independent international dispute resolution center based on English law is planned.
• A tourist flow of up to 90,000 people is expected on an area of over 100 hectares by 2035.
Kasymaliev also noted that the launch of the project occurs against the backdrop of significant economic growth. “In 2025, GDP growth is expected to be at 11.1%, and the average annual growth over the past four years has been 10.2%. "Tamchi" will become a new stimulus for our economy,” he concluded.
