In response to questions from the media representatives, he emphasized that the priority of his administration's work will be development and improvement, but it is not advisable to completely rule out demolition.
“We strive to be remembered for positive changes. But I cannot guarantee that demolition will be halted. Unpopular decisions may also be made. First and foremost, it is important to consider the opinions of the citizens,” Akayev noted.
He added that the main task of the new team is to make Osh a comfortable, clean, and green city where it is pleasant to live.
“My goal is to create a city where it is convenient to live and develop. Cleanliness, greenery, and improvement are what we strive for. We will work tirelessly, and I hope for your support, residents,” said the mayor.
The city hall also reported that the analysis of the condition of urban facilities is ongoing, and further decisions regarding improvement and management of the urban territory will be made based on the results.
