Akayev noted that in one day he managed to study almost ten problematic sites and areas where work had previously been carried out, some of which had dragged on for several months.
“I inspected almost ten sites in one day. We checked where surveillance cameras are installed and where they are not. All major projects that have been started will definitely be completed. Work is already underway, but there are also areas that have been left unattended. We are checking the availability of projects and conducted tenders. Everything must comply with the law,” he emphasized.
The mayor added that it is necessary to accelerate the pace of work, especially considering the approaching spring when active construction and improvement works should resume.
“Spring is approaching, and some areas have been stagnant for seven months. This is unacceptable,” Akayev noted.
Discussing his predecessor, the mayor pointed out that he had his own plans and initiatives, and many of the projects he started require completion.
In addition, Akayev reported that together with a new team of managers, they are working on launching additional initiatives for the city.
“We are currently developing new projects. There will be several of them, and the main thing is that every step is legal and brings results,” he added.
The city hall plans to provide updated information after completing the analysis of all current and problematic sites.
