The Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Alisher Erbaev, clarified that it is not customary in the agency to give employees nicknames. He commented on the recently appeared nicknames of operatives in the media and social networks, among which were "Lizard," "Vaseline," and "Pito."

Erbaev noted that such nicknames likely originated in society, but they are not used within the SCNS itself.

“In accordance with the law, each employee has a rank, title, and position. Members of criminal groups do not serve in the SCNS and should not serve,” he added.

He also emphasized that there is no official information in the committee regarding any informal nicknames among employees. Strict adherence to service discipline is maintained in the SCNS, and the work of employees is regulated by both legislation and internal rules.

Previously, the media and social networks actively discussed the nicknames of detained operatives, which sparked significant public interest. In this regard, the SCNS urged to rely on official sources of information.
