The President of Kyrgyzstan has signed a decree appointing Ermek Omuraliyev as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the country to Italy. In addition to this position, Omuraliyev will also become the Permanent Representative of Kyrgyzstan to several international organizations, including the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Food Programme (WFP), and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

With experience in the diplomatic field since the mid-1990s, Omuraliyev has established himself as a career diplomat. He has held various positions both in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and abroad, including heading the Department of Economic Diplomacy, where he dealt with issues related to attracting foreign investments, promoting exports, and developing tourism. Additionally, he has experience in civil aviation.
