“The president spoke about the reforms carried out in the administration and the cabinet of ministers. Thanks to digitalization, decision-making processes have become more efficient, and resources are being used more rationally. As a result of the savings associated with digitalization, it was possible to save 1 billion 205 million soms in 2024,” the speaker noted.
He also reported that the procurement of 90 tablets for deputies has already been initiated so that they can work with documents, which are currently received in paper format in parliament. “Unfortunately, we are currently receiving tons of paper,” he added.
“In addition, officials are constantly present in the corridors, and they can be called at any moment. In this regard, we plan to implement the possibility of online participation in committee meetings for those who can be called. Public receptions will also be organized so that deputies do not need to travel to the regions for meetings with citizens, but can accept requests online. In the Jogorku Kenesh itself, reception areas will be opened for five groups so that people do not have to wait outside, as is currently the case, and rooms for mothers with children will also be created,” Mamataliyev added.
It is worth reminding that on February 12, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu resigned from the position of Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh at his own request. Marlen Mamataliyev was elected to replace him.
