At a recent meeting of the board in Osh, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, called for an end to any discussions about dividing the country into north and south.

He noted: "There should be no division. These conversations are unacceptable." According to him, the president had also previously raised this issue, emphasizing the need to strengthen integration between regions.

Kasymaliev reported that next year, programs aimed at building social facilities and expanding student exchanges between various regions of the country are planned.

“We intend to change our approach to this issue. A student exchange plan has been outlined — 5,000 people. Students from the north will study in the south, and students from the south will study in the north,” he added.

In addition, he mentioned that changes will also affect civil servants. “Employees who have been in one place for a long time will be relocated,” said Kasymaliev.

In his opinion, such measures will help strengthen the unity of the country, improve governance, and eliminate regional disparities.
