The special services emphasize their activities in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In the press center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), it was reported that there are information leaks attempting to create the appearance of confrontation between various law enforcement agencies.
“In accordance with the directive of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Military Prosecutor's Office, in cooperation with the Main Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, conducted a series of investigative and operational activities regarding some former employees of the GKNB who are suspected of exceeding their official powers during the performance of their duties,” the agency reported.
All actions were carried out strictly in accordance with the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic and in compliance with all procedural norms. The leadership of the GKNB was timely informed about the ongoing activities.
The press service of the GKNB added that personnel decisions were made within the framework of the current legislation.
“As a result of the conducted inspection, serious personnel decisions were made. Individuals who violated the legislation were dismissed from their positions and excluded from the national security agencies. The collected materials have been forwarded for further legal assessment in accordance with established laws,” the committee noted.
Government agencies continue to implement policies aimed at strengthening legality, maintaining discipline, and preventing corrupt actions within their system. Every employee, regardless of their position, bears personal responsibility before the law.
“We will continue our work to ensure transparency and increase public trust in government agencies,” the GKNB emphasized.
The committee also noted that some information leaks deliberately distort reality and present a fictional confrontation between law enforcement structures.
“Such statements do not correspond to reality and are aimed at undermining trust in state institutions. All law enforcement and security agencies operate within the framework of the law and interact with each other to achieve common goals of ensuring national security and law and order,” they stated.
Attempts to artificially create conflict between agencies have a destructive nature and can destabilize the socio-political situation.
The GKNB calls on citizens and media representatives to rely only on official sources of information and to remain calm.
The agency assured that it will continue to protect the interests of the state and society, ensuring legality and security in the Kyrgyz Republic.
“It is important to emphasize that there are no untouchables in the system of government agencies (GKNB, Ministry of Internal Affairs, General Prosecutor's Office, Military Prosecutor's Office, judicial system, GNS, and others). Every civil servant, regardless of their position and experience, is responsible for their actions,” the special service added.
The state continues its course to cleanse its ranks of dishonest workers, strengthen discipline, and ensure the rule of law,” concluded the GKNB.
