Deputy Prime Minister Held Negotiations on Sanctions at the Munich Conference

During his working trip to Germany, Daniyar Amangeldiev, who holds the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, participated in the 62nd Munich Security Conference.
The Deputy Prime Minister held negotiations on sanctions at the Munich Conference

At this event, Amangeldiev held a series of bilateral meetings with several high-ranking foreign officials, including:

— Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Antonio Tajani;

— Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Gordan Grlić-Radman;

— Minister of European Integration of Serbia Nemanja Starović;

— Special Envoy of the U.S. President for Global Partnerships Paolo Zampolli;

— Special Envoy of the European Union for Sanctions David O'Callaghan;

— President of the European Central Bank Christine Lagarde;

— Commissioner of the European Union for International Partnerships Jozef Síkela;

— Former Secretary General of the OSCE Helga Schmid.

During the meetings, important issues regarding sanctions cooperation were discussed, as well as support for Kyrgyzstan's candidacy for a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council in 2027-2028.
