Veterinary services of Central Asian countries strengthen border control
At an emergency meeting in the capital of Kazakhstan, representatives of the veterinary services of Central Asian countries discussed important measures to combat dangerous animal diseases. Kyrgyzstan was represented by the director of the relevant service, Adilet Sotvaldiyev.

The main focus of the meeting was on transboundary infections that can spread rapidly across borders. Participants agreed on the necessity of creating a unified protective mechanism to prevent disease outbreaks and maintain stability in agriculture.

This event took place under the auspices of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) and marked an important step in coordinating efforts to ensure biosecurity in Central Asia.
