The head of Kyrgyzstan assured in an interview with "Kabar" that there are no conditions in the country for destabilization or attempts to seize power.
He noted that the era when governance was based on force is in the past, and those who tried to implement this have already learned their lessons from history.
Japarov emphasized: "A coup will not happen. We have neither conditions nor prerequisites for this. The country must be governed by reason, not by force. History confirms this. Where is now Bakiyev, who said: 'I will rule by force'? Where is Atambayev, who also relied on force? We should learn lessons from our past."
The president added that the laws of the country will not allow the tragic events of the past to be repeated, and he himself monitors the situation around the clock.
"I assert that there are no prerequisites for a coup in the country, as I spend 20 hours of my 24-hour day at work. I keep the situation under control. If something goes wrong, I immediately turn to ministers, akims, and governors to resolve the issues," he explained, noting that it is realistic to control 70-80% of all state processes.
