"There's no more organized crime, but I won't allow theft": the president made a statement about crime
According to him, radical changes in the country occurred after 2020.
“Kyrgyzstan before 2020 and after it are two completely different realities,” noted the head of state.
He also emphasized that the system of "watchers" and criminal influence on business and markets is no longer relevant. Although it is impossible to completely eradicate crime, as “where there are people, there are crimes,” the organized structures that previously existed will no longer be in the country.
Touching on the topic of corruption, Japarov emphasized that no state has been able to completely eliminate this phenomenon, but the fight against it will continue.
The president noted that law enforcement agencies have been given clear instructions to act without demonstrative "mask shows" and excessive publicity, but to respond strictly to any violation of the law.
Sadyr Japarov added that in the event of embezzlement being detected, all guilty parties will be punished, regardless of their status, position, or connections with the authorities. “Everyone will be held accountable for theft,” he stated.
Furthermore, the president confirmed that the course towards cleansing the system and restoring order will remain a key direction of state policy.
