Kyrgyz Bank Received a $50 Million Loan from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank » Gazeta.kg

On February 12, an agreement was signed in Bishkek between the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank regarding a concessional loan of $50 million for the State Development Bank. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance.

The funds received will be directed to support micro, small, and medium enterprises working on projects in the field of ecology and efficient resource use, which:

reduce energy consumption and operational costs;
use energy-efficient equipment;
develop renewable energy sources;
modernize production processes;
reduce negative environmental impact.

The implementation of this project is expected to increase investments in sustainable initiatives of small and medium businesses, enhance the technological level of companies, strengthen the competitiveness of local businesses, create new jobs, and contribute to achieving national climate and social goals.
