In the Kyrgyz expert community, possible scenarios for Kamchybek Tashiev's next steps after his return to Bishkek are actively discussed. Political scientist Bakyt Baketaev shared his forecasts regarding this event. He believes that the anticipated statement from the politician will not just be an emotional gesture, but a manifestation of true courage at the state level.
According to Baketaev, Tashiev emphasizes his significance not only as a close friend of the president but also as his ally, creating a "two-in-one" format. This implies that for him, the decisions of the head of state take precedence over personal ambitions, as the stability of the country is more important than any position.
“He is likely to acknowledge that the actions of his supporters were misguided, which led to his resignation, and he will agree with the president's decision. He may address his supporters and all citizens with a call to accept this decision for the sake of peace and stability, as well as to continue the complex reforms they have jointly undertaken over the past five years. Tashiev might say that he is stepping back to rest and recover his health after intense work in the face of significant changes. This would be the position of a mature politician, not a resentful person,” the expert noted.

True political friendship is not about banquets and compliments, but about a union of like-minded individuals who, in critical moments, put the interests of the state above their own feelings. Friendship based on responsibility becomes a powerful force. Perhaps Kyrgyzstan will now demonstrate that political friendship is possible when it is based not on self-interest but on a common goal—jointly building the country,” Baketaev added.
