"It is wrong to associate me with anyone"
Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu shared his thoughts with the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh regarding his decision to resign from the position of speaker.
He noted that the parliamentary delegation had just returned from Turkey, where the visit was successful and all meetings were at a high level.
Meanwhile, important political events have occurred in Kyrgyzstan, and some comments have been made about him. He emphasized that his service is directed not at one or two individuals, but at the entire Kyrgyz people and parliament. "I was elected as the speaker of the seventh convocation in 2022, and I continue to fulfill my duties by participating in significant decisions for the country," he added.
According to him, there is currently political stability in the republic, which contributes to the development of the country and economic growth, for which he expressed gratitude to President Sadyr Japarov, his team, and the parliament.
In this regard, to avoid any scandals, Turgunbek uulu decided to resign. "This decision was made solely by me, and there was no pressure," he emphasized.
He also noted the importance of maintaining stability in the country and completing the initiated reforms, urging the deputies to accept his decision.
It is important to note that despite resigning from the position of speaker, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu remains a deputy.
