The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, signed a decree announcing a referendum on constitutional reform. As reported by Tengrinews.kz, this information came from the Akorda.

According to the published decree, voting on the issues of constitutional reform is scheduled for March 15.

Recently, members of the Constitutional Commission presented the president with the results of their work on the draft of the new Constitution. The president noted that the new Constitution completes the process of changing Kazakhstan's institutional structure and paves the way for a new constitutional system.

Furthermore, Tokayev emphasizes that the draft of the Fundamental Law not only reflects modern social values and principles of state policy but also creates a solid foundation for the country's further progressive development.
