In addition, the parliamentarian suggested creating modern laboratories on-site for soil analysis and providing farmers with recommendations on the most profitable crops for their regions.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev responded that farmers do not throw away their harvest, but sort it right on the roadside.
Nevertheless, Medina Kairylbekova disagreed with this point of view.
“I myself am engaged in farming and know that if bell peppers do not clear customs within two to three days, they become unsuitable. There are two major checkpoints in the Talas region, and we need a large logistics center with refrigeration facilities,” she noted.
