The Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov commented on the recent events in the political life of the country.

He noted that all important state decisions were made only after joint consultations and discussions, which allowed for the preservation of a model of accountability that, despite expectations, lasted for a long time.

According to Baisalov, the model of joint decision-making could continue to serve the interests of the people. General Tashiev has repeatedly stated publicly his support for the president, asserting that the current head of state has every right to continue his activities.

However, as Baisalov claims, some individuals, pursuing their own interests, began to speak on behalf of Tashiev, creating the illusion of already made decisions regarding power and leadership changes, which led to uncertainty and rumors of dual power.

Baisalov emphasized that these provocations were the cause of the rift between Japarov and Tashiev, which threatens the stability of society and the state. He pointed out the need for clear and centralized execution of power.

President Sadyr Japarov took an oath and is obliged to maintain unity and stability in the country, preventing the usurpation of power in any form.

Baisalov called for important state decisions not to be reduced to personal relationships, and the president must serve exclusively the interests of the people and the Constitution.

In his opinion, as a mature political society, we cannot afford to descend to discussing state issues at the level of personal conflicts.

He also noted that in recent years there has been a certain imbalance in governance, where representatives of security agencies began to perceive themselves not as law enforcers but as authoritative figures, which has caused dissatisfaction and criticism from society.

History shows that when legality is replaced by political expediency, it undermines the foundation of a constitutional state.

Baisalov noted that violations, however justified, contradict the spirit of the Constitution, and Kyrgyzstan must remain a rule-of-law state that protects the rights of citizens. He stated the necessity to stop the practice of granting some agencies inappropriate powers.

He expressed regret that this period in political history ended so unexpectedly, but acknowledged that ambiguity should have been left in the past, and emphasized the importance of General Tashiev's calls for peace and stability.

In conclusion, Baisalov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan faces important challenges, including hosting international events and celebrating the 35th anniversary of independence, and called for support for President Japarov in strengthening legality and stability in the country.
