Information has appeared on social media about the detention of high-ranking employees of the special services.
The press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) has denied reports of the detention of its employees.
In particular, rumors were circulating online about the detention of the head of the department in the capital, Eldar Zhakypbekov.
The agency stated: "All employees are at their workplaces. We ask you not to spread false information and to rely only on official sources," added GKNB representatives.
