
Today, February 10, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the conversation, issues related to deepening and strengthening relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan were discussed, with an emphasis on friendly ties, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership.
Both presidents highlighted the positive dynamics in trade turnover between the countries, as well as the progress in the implementation of joint infrastructure projects. In particular, they discussed important topics such as industrial cooperation, the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, and the Kambaratinskaya HPP-1 project.
In addition, the leaders exchanged views on current issues related to the regional agenda and reviewed the plan for upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
