As part of his working trip to the Issyk-Kul region, Japarov and Zhao visited the territory of the new ski cluster "Ala-Too Resort," which includes three resort villages: "Jyrgalan," "Ak-Bulak," and "Boz-Uchuk." The construction of this complex is currently in an active development stage.
During the presentation, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, Azamat Kadyraliev, highlighted key aspects of the project, such as its advantageous location, environmental sustainability, sustainable development, and attractiveness for investors.
Currently, the construction of modern cable infrastructure is underway. High-speed combined cable cars B1 and B2 will provide comfortable ascents to the slopes in both closed cabins and open chairs.
The area of the ski cluster will be 3,916 hectares, and the length of the ski trails will reach 260 kilometers, allowing it to become one of the largest resorts in the world.
The complex will also include a panoramic restaurant, conference halls, a medical center, a stadium, an amphitheater, and recreational areas.
Currently, the construction of drinking water supply systems, the design of treatment facilities, and the laying of power lines are being carried out, and the reconstruction of the Karakol — Jyrgalan road has also begun.
Kadyraliev noted that the state offers investors an individual approach and minimizes bureaucratic procedures at the document preparation stage. He also mentioned that the construction of the cable cars and villas is planned to be completed in July, and the opening of the first phase of the resort town "Jyrgalan" will take place in December. Next year, the construction of hotels of various star ratings will begin.
