On February 6, negotiations took place between high-profile delegates from Iran and the United States, during which Tehran reaffirmed its position of unwillingness to halt the enrichment of nuclear fuel. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal.

Despite the disagreements, both countries expressed their readiness to continue diplomatic negotiations aimed at minimizing the risks of military confrontation from Washington.

In turn, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, according to reports from Iranian state media, informed U.S. representatives that Tehran has no intention of either stopping uranium enrichment or exporting relevant technologies outside the country. Thus, Iran rejected one of the main demands of the American side.
