Talaibek Masabirov: I have no information regarding Kamchybek Tashiev's participation in the elections. As for the elections themselves, President Sadyr Nurgozhoevich was elected under the previous rules. The new law, adopted in 2021, limits the possibility for one candidate to two terms of five years, while his first term is six years. We have already set the election date for January 2027, but the issue of early elections is not yet being discussed in the Jogorku Kenesh.

Dastan Bekeshev: I believe that the possibility of holding early elections is not excluded. This could happen either at the end of this year or at the beginning of the next. The summer period is not suitable due to scheduled events such as the SCO and the Nomad Games. Why not hold the elections in April or May? As for Kamchybek Tashiev, he has repeatedly stated that he does not intend to participate in the elections, and I believe he will keep his word.

Kubanychbek Samakov: Everything should happen in accordance with the law and the Constitution. Article 66 of the Constitution allows the president to be elected for two terms of five years; however, the current president was elected for six years under the old rules. His first term will be counted from the moment the new Constitution is introduced, which opens the possibility for his re-election for a second term of five years.

As for Kamchybek Tashiev's intentions, I know nothing. It is the choice of the people, and his plans remain with him.

Gulya Kozhokulova: Early elections are possible, as the Constitution allows for this. The new election law contains provisions for regular and extraordinary elections. There are no prohibitions, but there must be grounds for holding them. I did not participate in the discussions on this issue.

Choosing one's candidacy for the elections is the right of everyone, provided they meet the established criteria.

Bolot Ibragimov: Both the first and second questions depend on the decision of the people. Kamchybek Tashiev is a free man. If he decides to run, that is his right. Personally, I am not familiar with his ambitions. As for the elections, I believe they will take place on schedule.

Sovetbek Rustambek uulu: There is no discussion of early elections in the Jogorku Kenesh. Discussions are only happening on social media. We will adhere to the law. I cannot comment on Tashiev's intentions, as that is his constitutional right.

Elvira Surabaldiyeva: It is interesting to consider who benefits from creating such discussions in society? Who is behind this? It is difficult to say for now, but in my opinion, the elections should take place on time — January 24, 2027. I have not discussed Kamchybek Tashiev's participation in the elections, so I cannot make predictions.

Dastan Jumabekov: I do not see the need for early elections. According to the Constitution, the president's term will be six years, and if he is re-elected, the term will be five years. The six-year term will end in 2027, and I think the elections will take place during that period. I do not know Tashiev's intentions, but he himself has said that he will not participate.

Marlen Mamataliyev: In the VII convocation, a law was adopted that clearly states that the presidential elections will take place on January 24, 2027. All experts familiar with the legal side of the issue agree that this is the right decision. It does not contradict the Constitution or other laws. However, if circumstances arise that affect the elections, it may be necessary to amend the legislation. This could be related to international events, such as the SCO. But if there are no obstacles for the current president, we will wait for the established date.

The second question is more related to politics. Let them decide for themselves.
