According to the deputy, one will now have to work a lifetime for housing
Deputy Meder Aliyev voiced alarming information during a session of the Jogorku Kenesh: apartment prices in Bishkek have reached the level of those in Moscow. This statement was made against the backdrop of a global trend of rising real estate prices.
Aliyev noted that the cost of housing in Bishkek is currently increasing at such a rate that it even surpasses large cities like Istanbul and Madrid.
He emphasized that previously, migrants could work in Russia for just six months and afford to buy an apartment back home. However, at present, in the deputy's opinion, even years of hard work do not guarantee the ability to purchase housing.
This statement was responded to by the First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev. He suggested that those who wish to become homeowners contact the State Investment Committee, where various financing options are available, including Islamic schemes.
