The European Union is ready to sign a new agreement on the digitalization of Kyrgyzstan

At a meeting with Nurbek Akzholov, Deputy Minister of Finance of Kyrgyzstan, European Commission representative Charlotte Adrian announced the European Union's intention to support new projects for the modernization of the country.

She noted: "We highly appreciate the reforms being carried out in the republic and are ready to sign an agreement on digitalization."

Charlotte Adrian emphasized that the European Union will continue to provide assistance in updating key sectors of Kyrgyzstan's state economy.

For his part, Nurbek Akzholov expressed gratitude to European partners for their support in the fields of education, water management, and digitalization, noting that the Kyrgyz side is fulfilling all obligations under joint programs. The process of finalizing a new financial agreement in the area of digitalization is currently underway.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to develop partnership and jointly implement effective social projects.
