Today, at the plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Akylbek Tumonbaev expressed concern that the Ministry of Construction is not completing the commissioning of several real estate properties in Bishkek and Osh.

He noted that there are residential buildings where people have lived for many years, but these buildings are not officially registered.

“As a result, taxes are not being collected for the budget. You know that after the completion of construction, companies are required to pay taxes. Perhaps someone is interested in this situation? There is a possibility that the Ministry of Construction and construction firms are colluding to evade tax obligations,” the MP stated.

In response, Minister of Construction Nurdhan Oruntaev emphasized that no one is interested in such practices.

“Until 2022, more than 200 properties did not have permits for commissioning and lacked the necessary documents. However, last year a commission was established that successfully resolved issues for 150 properties, and work on the others will continue. The primary concern is safety,” he noted.

First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev added that thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Construction, in 2025, 1,400 more properties were commissioned than in 2024.
