Members of the Cabinet of Ministers arrived at the Parliament
Today, a government hour is taking place in the Jogorku Kenesh, where ministers present reports on their activities and answer questions from deputies. This discussion was a response to numerous requests from parliamentarians who asked to summon ministers for clarifications on various issues.
Deputies expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of responses to their inquiries and criticized the insufficient activity of ministers at parliamentary meetings and the interaction of certain government members with them.
The chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, was absent from the meeting as he is in Dubai to participate in the World Government Summit. This circumstance caused discontent among deputy Kurmankul Zulushiev. Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu noted that Kasymaliev had notified in advance about his trip, and it had been agreed upon.
The meeting is chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev, who represents the interests of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Turgunbek uulu also reported that he met with President Sadyr Japarov the day before, where they discussed issues of interaction between the legislative and executive branches of government, expressing hope for a prompt resolution of all arising problems.
