Leading company from the UAE is ready to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan in the energy sector
During the negotiations, key aspects of the implementation of energy projects in Kyrgyzstan were discussed, and steps were identified to strengthen cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates.
Kasymaliev noted that the development of green energy is an important direction of state policy in Kyrgyzstan. He emphasized that the republic aims to strengthen partnership relations in the field of sustainable development and renewable energy sources (RES).
Furthermore, the CEO of Masdar expressed interest in further cooperation and noted that he considers Kyrgyzstan a potentially important partner in the region. During the meeting, a framework agreement was signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and Masdar. Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) is a leading company from the UAE, founded in 2006, specializing in renewable energy sources such as solar and wind energy, as well as "green" hydrogen. It actively invests in energy projects worldwide and plans to achieve a total capacity of its projects exceeding 100 gigawatts by 2030.
