The deputies approved the transfer of all profits from the National Bank to the republican budget.

Today, the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh unanimously supported the bill "On Issues of Transferring Profits of the National Bank" during a session, adopting it in three readings without additional discussions.

According to the adopted law, the National Bank will direct 100% of its profits to the republican budget, but only after the financial statements have been audited by an independent external auditor.

It was previously reported that the expected amounts of transfers could reach approximately 50 billion soms. The Ministry of Finance plans to use these funds to finance social programs and other significant budget expenditures.

Starting from 2023, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic transfers all its profits to the republican budget. In 2023, the amount was 12.6 billion soms, and in 2024, it is expected to be 45.7 billion soms.
