The visit of the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Altai Republic, Vladimir Poletayev, to Kyrgyzstan marks the beginning of a new era in trade and economic relations between the two regions. The main objective of the trip was to strengthen foreign economic ties and promote the products of Altai producers in Kyrgyz territory.
During his visit, Poletayev held a series of significant meetings with important figures such as the Ambassador of Russia Sergey Vakunov, Trade Representative Ainur Samanov, and the head of the Eurasian Development Bank representation Nurlan Akmatov. Discussions focused on expanding the presence of Altai goods in Kyrgyzstan's agriculture, as well as the prospects for industrial cooperation and direct supplies of products from the environmentally clean region of Russia.
However, the visit was not limited to economic issues. Significant attention was given to humanitarian aspects, where representatives of Altai and relevant agencies of Kyrgyzstan outlined specific steps for exchanging experiences in tourism, education, sports, and culture. Such cooperation confirms the commitment to strengthening interregional ties within the framework of Eurasian integration.
