Edil Baisalov revealed who will be the next president of Kyrgyzstan
Baisalov noted that under Japarov's leadership, Kyrgyzstan is demonstrating stable growth, and "main trajectories" for development have been identified up to 2032. He believes that the majority of citizens support this course.
“I hope that the people will vote for our president. The question is, with what percentage — 75, 85, or 90,” he added.
He also mentioned that the current year will be his last in the position of Deputy Prime Minister within the current presidential cycle. Baisalov expressed his intention to complete the initiated reforms, especially in the field of education, emphasizing the importance of school reform for the country's future.
According to the official, the fruits of reforms in the education sector will only become evident in 15 years, and their full effect will be achieved by 2050, when Kyrgyzstan will need to prepare a "new generation of competitive Kyrgyz citizens."
