The deputy called for a reduction in diesel fuel prices for farmers
His statement was a response to the position of the Ministry of Agriculture, which claims that agrarians can purchase diesel fuel at a reduced price of 74 soms per liter. However, Tashiev believes that this price is still higher than the market rate.
“Farmers have the opportunity to refuel at this price at any gas station, but in the south of the country, 'Kyrgyzneftegaz' sells diesel fuel for 69 soms per liter. Since this is a state enterprise, it should act in the interests of the state. I propose setting the price at 65 soms for farmers — this is real support that they need to be provided, and it is important to prohibit the sale of diesel fuel at gas stations,” he noted.
As for the northern part of the country, there is the 'Junda' plant, which could also offer diesel fuel at a more favorable price for agrarians. The main thing at the moment is to ensure privileges for the local population,” Shaiyrbek Tashiev added.
