The Cabinet is Reducing the List of Inspectors: Some Government Agencies are Losing the Right to Conduct Inspections

The Cabinet of Ministers has presented a new draft resolution for public discussion, which proposes a revision of the list of government bodies authorized to inspect business structures. This initiative is the result of significant changes in the functions and structure of the executive branch.

According to the draft, items 3, 16, and 17 will be removed from the current list, which include the Department of Precious Metals, the Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection and Quarantine, as well as the State Agency for the Control of the Production and Circulation of Ethyl Alcohol. These functions have been transferred to other bodies.

The updated document also clarifies the new status of the State Architectural and Construction Control Department, which will now be under the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Compared to the previous version, the new list retains only 18 authorized bodies.

It is important to note that the proposed changes will not lead to any additional budget expenditures and will not create any social, economic, or environmental problems.
