Kyrgyzstan and China Discussed Cooperation Between Analytical Centers and Historians

The recent meeting between Arslan Koichiev, the State Secretary of Kyrgyzstan, and Gao Xiang, the President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), marked an important milestone in strengthening ties between the two countries. Gao Xiang, who heads one of China's leading analytical centers, is known for his research on the country's history, particularly during the Qing Dynasty.

According to a statement from the press service of the President's Administration of Kyrgyzstan, the discussion focused not only on the prospects for cooperation between analytical centers but also on the possibility of interaction between historians from both countries.




During the meeting, Koichiev emphasized the significance of Gao Xiang's contributions to the scientific community, noting that his works and analytical reports on the current international situation generate great interest among experts.

An agreement was also reached on the joint study of sources related to the ancient and medieval history of the Kyrgyz during discussions with representatives from the Institute of Ancient History of CASS.


Although this aspect was not covered in the official statement, the photographs published by the press service confirm that a ceremony was held during the visit to open a book house dedicated to the works of the President of China, Xi Jinping, in Bishkek.
