He reminded that the day before, the committee reviewed the proposed options.
“The committee members carefully studied both the texts and the music of the anthems. Unfortunately, none of the projects proved to be worthy, and we decided to reject them. Our task is not only to replace the anthem but also to ensure that Kyrgyzstani people, from the age of 7 to 70, know and can perform it. All the presented options were written in a march style, which makes them difficult to perform. The anthem should be free, like our land. We must move away from the marches created in the Soviet era. It should be played at official events and even at celebrations,” noted the speaker.
The speaker added that the competition process will continue, and participation is open to everyone who wishes to join.
