Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his willingness to meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin to discuss issues related to territories and the situation surrounding the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. This was reported by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga in a conversation with journalists.

When asked about the recent negotiations in Abu Dhabi, where delegations from Russia, Ukraine, and the USA gathered, Sibiga noted that two key issues remain unresolved: territorial disputes and the fate of the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

The Russian side demands the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donbas, which Ukraine considers unacceptable. In turn, Kyiv insists on the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, while the USA proposes to establish joint management of this power plant with Russia.

Andriy Sibiga emphasized that Zelensky is open to dialogue with Putin on these issues.

The negotiations held in Abu Dhabi are scheduled to continue on February 1.
