Deputies will elect three new members of the Council for Justice Affairs

At the meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, responsible for judicial and legal issues, as well as the fight against crime and corruption, the deputies discussed the composition of the Council for Justice Affairs.

Committee Chairman Boloтbek Borbiev reported that the candidates for the Council were proposed by deputies, the president, and the People's Kurultai.

He noted that "on June 18, 2025, deputy of the VII convocation Balbak Tulobaev was elected to the council. Due to the expiration of his term, it is necessary to elect a new member from the VIII convocation. The deputy groups nominated the candidacies of Bekmurza Ergeshov and Kubanychbek Samakov."

At the committee meeting, the deputies did not make a decision on choosing one of the two presented candidates and decided to forward these proposals to the general assembly of deputies.

President Sadyr Japarov proposed the candidacy of the prosecutor of the Aksy district of the Jalal-Abad region, Uluqbek Chynybaev, to participate in the Council.

Also, the People's Kurultai nominated the candidacy of Almazbek Aydarov.

As a result of the discussion, the committee members decided to recommend that the Jogorku Kenesh consider all proposed candidates.

The Council for Justice Affairs is responsible for selecting candidates for vacant positions of judges of the Constitutional, Supreme, and local courts.
