The Central Election Commission denied registration of Zalkarbek Mansuralyev as a candidate for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh
The decision not to recognize Zalkarbek Mansuralyev as a candidate for the Jogorku Kenesh was made by the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic. The press service of the CEC reported that Mansuralyev's documents were submitted for self-nomination to the multi-mandate electoral district No. 13 on January 21.

The working group responsible for accepting and verifying candidates and their documents found that Mansuralyev did not meet the requirements established by law for candidates to the Jogorku Kenesh and recommended denying his registration.

According to the constitutional law "On the elections of the president and deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh," a candidate must have resided in the territory of the republic for at least the last five years.
However, according to the data from the Border Service of the State National Security Committee, Zalkarbek Mansuralyev spent a significant amount of time outside the country: in 2021 – 354 days, in 2022 – 364 days, and in 2023 – 123 days.
These factors were the basis for the denial of Mansuralyev's registration as a candidate for deputies in the multi-mandate electoral district No. 13.
