Will Japarov and Tashiev write a new chapter in the blessed epic "Manas"?
The epic reflects the dream of the Kyrgyz people for a wise ruler who can create a new state, free from oligarchic influence and based on justice. Sadyr Japarov and Kamchybek Tashiev stand on the brink of this dream, moving closer to its realization.
The main task of Manas is to unite the Kyrgyz tribes and free them from external oppression... But his struggle does not end there. In the second and third parts of the epic, he faces internal enemies, strengthening the state and restoring justice among his people.
Manas is not alone in his struggle. He is supported by loyal companions such as Bakai, Koshoy, Almambet, Chubak, and Syrgak. Even the bravest and strongest hero cannot face challenges alone.
This also embodies the deep dream of the Kyrgyz – eternal friendship and unity among the warriors who strive for a common goal, supporting each other. This friendship is essential for the victory of both each individual and the people they represent.
However, dreams often seem unattainable. Meanwhile, envy and betrayal are a reality familiar to all. For example, Manas's relative, Kozkaman, attempted to poison him, and Khan Konurbay dealt him a fatal blow while Manas was unarmed and praying...
All Kyrgyz are, to some extent, descendants of Manas and face his trials. Political leaders at different times, such as Kurmanbek Bakiyev and Felix Kulov, Almazbek Atambayev and Sooronbay Jeenbekov, likely recalled the legacies of Manas, though they interpreted them in their own ways. But the outcome of such unifications has always been sad.
Bakiyev betrayed Kulov, first securing his support and ensuring that he renounced his presidential ambitions. Kulov, trusting his partner, was soon ousted from the government, demonstrating to the Kyrgyz that there is no friendship in politics. Everyone ends up alone.
Atambayev, who brought his friend Soke to power, ultimately betrayed him, sending him to prison. And Almazbek Sharshenovich long reproached the man with whom he shared bread for ingratitude. But he did not realize that he himself had repeatedly betrayed his loyal companions...
In 2020, a new alliance emerged in Kyrgyz politics – President Sadyr Japarov and the head of the State National Security Committee Kamchybek Tashiev. Society cautiously awaited how their relationship would develop: who would outsmart whom? And when would the next stab in the back occur?
It gradually became clear that these two men came to power not to satisfy their ambitions or enrich themselves at the expense of the people. Their goal is to create a completely new state based on morality and spirituality.
The true revolution is not about replacing one oligarch with another or redistributing wealth from the rich to the poor. The essence of the revolution is to restore the pride of the people in their country, so that every Kyrgyz can proudly declare: "I live in a free republic, where there is no external pressure or corruption."
"Many talk about 'ıymaan' (morality)," noted Kamchybek Tashiev. "I know what these people are doing and how they conduct their affairs." Corruption and nepotism, the thirst for enrichment and betrayal – this is true immorality.
Japarov and Tashiev strive to restore the meaning of the word "ıymaan" to society and establish moral principles in Kyrgyzstan. Without this, true development is impossible. The first step in this direction is the nationalization of "Kumtor," which not only halted the exploitation of resources but also returned to the people a sense of justice.
The alliance of Japarov and Tashiev has its pros and cons. The strength lies in their ability to tackle tasks that previous authorities, torn by conflicts, could not handle. But at the same time, their friendship is constantly tested by destructive forces. In Kyrgyzstan, there are still those who do not understand how important this unity in patriotism is, in the effort to pull the country out of crisis.
One is from the north, the other from the south, and this fact could lead to the collapse of their alliance, but they have shown that the people of Kyrgyzstan are united. Their tandem is not just "the first" and "the second," but a symbol of unity, despite envy and intrigue.
The sixth year of their alliance is full of passions and intrigues. Against the backdrop of the upcoming elections, the "waiters" eagerly anticipate the end of their friendship.
"We have one goal and one path," stated Kamchybek Tashiev in the documentary film "President." "Many have tried to sow discord between us, but that is impossible. Only death can separate us."
"We don't care who will be president," added Sadyr Japarov. "We both care about our country."
For the first time in a new stage of Kyrgyzstan's history, real steps are being taken towards realizing the ideas of the epic "Manas," and this is happening with positive changes. These two friends, whose friendship has withstood the test of time and difficulties, are an example of successful and wise governance.
Such an alliance, as Manas dreamed of, now has two powerful wings.
