The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has approved new rules regarding the distribution of tariff quotas for the import of certain types of meat for participants in foreign economic activity. This decision has been made to align the country's legislation with the norms of the Eurasian Economic Union and to enhance transparency in procedures.

The updated rules regulate the procedure for distributing quotas, accounting for import volumes, and establish priorities for local processing enterprises. This document is based on the decision of the EEC Board No. 30, adopted on April 21, 2015, which defines a unified list of goods subject to tariff quotas.

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has been instructed to notify the Eurasian Economic Commission about the introduction of the new rules, which will allow for corresponding changes to be made in the register of authorized bodies of the EAEU countries.

With the adoption of this resolution, two previous documents lose their force:
• Government Resolution No. 889 dated December 29, 2015;
• Resolution No. 252 dated May 23, 2018, which amended the first.

The new resolution will come into effect from the moment of its official publication and will be valid from January 1 to December 31, 2026.
