Consultations in the format of "Central Asia - Russia" took place in Moscow, where practical cooperation aimed at implementing the joint action plan for 2025-2027 was discussed. This plan was approved following the second "Central Asia - Russia" summit, which took place in Dushanbe on October 9, 2025. Initiatives proposed by the leaders of Central Asian countries during the summit were also considered. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Diplomats representing the foreign ministries of the countries, as well as their ambassadors, participated in the event.

"The meeting included a detailed discussion on the systematic work for the implementation of the joint action plan and the initiatives proposed by the heads of state of Central Asia," the ministry reported.

In addition, the discussions addressed issues of cooperation in six different areas: trade and economy, transport and logistics, energy, medicine, cultural and humanitarian ties, and ecology.

"The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere," added representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
