Recently, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan officially became part of an international structure known as the "Council of Peace." The signing of the charter of this organization took place on January 22 in Davos, where President of the USA Donald Trump announced his intention to take the position of chairman of the council.

Trump noted that after the formation of the council is completed, he will be able to make a wide range of decisions. "When our 'Council of Peace' is finally formed, we will be able to take practically any actions, and this will happen in cooperation with the UN," he added.

In addition to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, 18 more countries joined the new organization. Each participating state has the right to one vote, and decisions are made by majority. However, they come into effect only after the approval of the chairman — Donald Trump.

It should be noted that the "Council of Peace" was created with the aim of monitoring the implementation of the terms of peace agreements in the Gaza Strip, and 60 countries were invited to become its members.
