“The summer season is characterized by constant fires at the landfill. The emergency services are unable to cope with the fire. The smoke from this spreads over a distance of 20-25 kilometers, reaching neighboring villages and even Kant. In this regard, we urgently ask the government to consider the possibility of constructing a waste sorting plant near the landfill,” she noted.
