The parliament requests to extend the stay of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Uzbekistan.

At a recent parliamentary meeting, Deputy Nilufar Alimjanova proposed to initiate a discussion on the possibility of extending the stay duration for citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan.

She noted that Kyrgyz citizens often travel to Uzbekistan for study, business, medical assistance, and other reasons.

“Currently, their stay is limited to three days, after which registration is required. At the same time, citizens of Uzbekistan can stay in Kyrgyzstan for up to five days without the need for documentation,” Nilufar Alimjanova pointed out, urging the authorities to address this issue and initiate meetings for negotiations on extending the stay duration.
