The changes pertain to the financial mechanism that will be used to maintain this important transport artery. The new version of the document clarifies that road expenses will now be covered not only from the republican budget but also, if necessary, from local funds.
Additionally, the Ministry of Finance has been instructed to ensure funding within the allocations provided for the maintenance of highways in the current year. In case of a shortfall, the missing amount must be compensated from the budget of the city of Bishkek.
The resolution also includes a provision for providing additional funding for those works that will not be covered by the republican budget.
