Requirements for Knowledge of the Kyrgyz Language for Civil Servants Have Been Tightened
According to the new regulations, for certain categories of administrative positions, there is now a mandatory requirement for proficiency in the state language at the level established by the relevant regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers. The requirement for knowledge of the official language sufficient to perform official duties remains in effect.
These changes pertain to the qualification requirements for civil servants at various levels and are aimed at implementing the norms of the constitutional Law "On the State Language".
The Cabinet emphasizes that this resolution should contribute to strengthening the role of the state language in the field of public administration and improving the quality of administration.
The new rules will come into effect in 10 days.
