According to information provided by the president's administration, Talantbek Tashibekov has been appointed as the chairman of the National Agency for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations. This decision was made by President Sadyr Japarov.

Previously, this position was held by Azamat Yusupov, who was relieved of his duties on December 8, 2025. On the same day, President's decree also dismissed Ruslan Musaev from the position of deputy chairman of the agency.

The official statement does not disclose the reasons for these personnel changes.
