Zakharova: Russia's Relations with CIS Countries Are Built on Good Neighborliness and Trust

Zaharova: Russia's relations with CIS countries are built on good neighborliness and trust

During a briefing, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, made a statement regarding Moscow's foreign policy towards CIS countries. She urged the public to rely only on official sources of information and to "judge by actions," rather than succumbing to disinformation and provocations, as reported by TASS.

Zakharova emphasized that Russia's position is formulated only by authorized representatives, underscoring the country's unwavering course towards strengthening good neighborly relations, strategic partnership, and alliance with the states of Central Asia and the South Caucasus.

The diplomat also noted that Russia consistently demonstrates this approach through ongoing dialogue within the CIS and CSTO, as well as through specific actions to support its partners. In response to comments from certain media representatives, Zakharova stated that attempts to interpret their statements as the official opinion of Russia are unacceptable manipulation and part of information provocations.
