Deputy Minister of Education Nadira Jusupbekova stated at a press conference at the "Kabar" agency that testing or interviews are not allowed when enrolling children in the first grade, nor any other activities that could assess children's knowledge. She emphasized the importance of timely registration of children from April 1 to June 1 and recommended choosing schools located near home. In case of a shortage of places, the system will suggest the nearest educational institution.
Melisbek Muzulmanov, head of the school education department of the Ministry of Education, added that quotas for enrollment will be established by local self-government bodies based on the number of teachers.
